Table
Points to be allocated when items are put in the display case. Points
are given to one single item. Member to decide which item to enter for trophy,
It is the members responsibility to identify find and which
time period, this will be confirmed by the committee member who is
judging. Any amount of finds can go into the case, but only one will be
judged for this trophy, the rest will be judged using the club voting
system that we have always run, This system will not be altered in any
way, The scoring system leaves plenty room for debate. But this system
will ensure that all members finds will be given points. There will be
two lists for judging one for Coins and one for Artifacts, this will in
no way interfere with the general system we are running now. Fossils
have not been included in the judging because they are not a metal
detecting find. The FLO will award a further 2 points to what she
judges to be the best coin/ artifact. If a coin/artifact as exceptional
qualities a further 2 points will be allocated to item of any age. |
